Description
oh the game is in the in the touch bar people keep asking for two things on Macs touch screens on MacBooks and a better gaming experience but what if I told you you could have both oh no way hold on this thing that thing it's used as a controller for the game but is it any good probably easier than using the trackpad or the mouse oh this is this feels right I'm gonna put a game that actually runs in the touch bar pack bar it's Pac-Man in a straight line it is but it isn't as easy as it sounds oh what the I don't know if I'm this bad this is harder than I thought and finally what about a game that runs on everything is this system uh yeah this this is Doom yes the whole game can be played on the touch bar but is it worth playing this way it's kind of fun this could be up there I mean it's really immersive can't say I've had better and they say the touch bar is useless and yet the touch bar is going to die and not even games could have saved it
The video showcases a surprising approach to gaming on a Mac by using the Touch Bar as an input and display surface for gameplay. It starts by highlighting that Mac users often request a touchscreen or better gaming experiences, then introduces the core idea: repurposing the Touch Bar as a game controller. The presenter experiments with Pac-Man played directly on the Touch Bar, noting the novelty and the challenge of controlling the game in this narrow strip, which makes it feel both clever and awkward at once. The action then shifts to a more ambitious demonstration with the classic game Doom, asserting that the entire game can be played through the Touch Bar, which the presenter finds surprisingly immersive and engaging. Throughout, the video raises questions about the Touch Bar's potential and its relevance to gaming, while also hinting at nostalgia for its once-tle contemplate status. The conclusion suggests that while the Touch Bar is controversial, it can offer unique experiences that push the boundaries of how we interact with games on Mac hardware, even if the setup is impractical for everyday use.
