Description
this image wasn't photoshopped that's right the iconic Windows XP Bliss desktop wallpaper is basically an unedited picture of a hill taken in 1996 just outside of the San Francisco area in California's Wine Country part of the reason the grass looks so Lush and the sky is so blue is that it was taken on a special film called velvia Popular for nature photography as it tends to saturate colors while still looking realistic and the way the light fell on the hill that day due to the cloud cover also made the scene so pleasing that some thought it was actually just straight up artificial the picture was available for a few years as a stock photo but Microsoft bought the rights to it and the rest is history because so many people used XP it's thought that Bliss is the most viewed photo ever in your face da Vinci
