The short titled Oh no a dead mouse! follows a user confronting the frustration of a Magic Mouse that has run out of power, highlighting Apple’s charging limitation as a design flaw. The creator enumerates quick workaround ideas in a rapid, humorous style, starting with practical but imperfect options such as placing a plugged-in mouse on the desk edge to keep it alive during work. He then tosses out several improvised solutions, including borrowing a mouse from a friend, using a Magic Trackpad as a temporary replacement, and attempting to integrate an iPad with Sidecar to shore up the workflow. The list of options culminates in more unconventional suggestions like charging the mouse on a wireless charger or finally venturing the complaint that the charging port should have been placed at the front from the start. Throughout the piece, the humor arises from the relatable predicament of reliance on a single input device and the scramble to keep working while the battery dies. The video ends with a resigned note that none of these fixes perfectly solve the problem in the moment, underscoring a user experience issue with a well-known product. Overall, the short blends light humor with concrete but imperfect fixes, showcasing both the appeal and the frustrations of Apple hardware design in a compact, viewer-friendly format.
