I think Ledwig makes a really good point here. Nobody can stay relevant on social media forever. And building a company that can last beyond my personal influence is something I've given a lot of thought to. It's one of the reasons we give so much screen time to our other staff and was a major driver behind us building up the lab, which is designed to objectively test hardware, so that at some point in the future, we won't have to be dependent on my personal opinion at all in order to drive our content. It's also been a huge driver of our multi- channelannel strategy. By creating the channel Short Circuit, which isn't named after this guy, we allow ourselves the flexibility to have alternate hosts come in and give their takes on various products. That's something that we would like to see continue to happen over time. I'm also here to tell you about our sponsor, Mexico, who's featuring their Nova mini projector.
Ledwig opens the short by highlighting the importance of building a sustainable LTT brand that can thrive beyond Linus’s personal influence. He explains how the new lab was designed to objectively test hardware, ensuring future content can stand on its own. The video also introduces the Short Circuit channel, a multi‑channel strategy that allows alternate hosts to bring fresh perspectives to product reviews. He then announces the sponsor, Mexico, featuring their Nova mini projector, tying the brand’s growth to a tangible partnership. Overall, the clip showcases LTT’s commitment to innovation, community engagement, and strategic sponsorships.
Viewers praise the clear focus on sustainability and the new lab, noting the Short Circuit channel as a key innovation. Comments frequently reference the sponsor and the importance of a strong host presence, with several users highlighting Linus’s role and the humor around the “fat” joke. Overall sentiment is positive, with high engagement reflected in the 1.2 million views and 6.7k likes, indicating strong audience approval of the video’s message and execution.
