Description
***WATCH IN HD*** Here's the full review video fo the SoundTech GN3 Desktop Microphone from Alto-Edge. The microphone is most impressive because of the fact that it's quality is beautiful! So getting quality power, stereo sound, and bass is definitely a strong point of this microphone. This review video will be posted as a video response to the unboxing video (as always) so you guys can see exactly what came in the box. The mic is phantom powered, and has 2 pivot points for easy customization for your setup. I reccomend this microphone for PC recording software, voice recognition software, internet chatting (VOIP or Skype) and other applications along those lines. The neck is a 16-inch, made of rubber, with 2 pivot points. It is noise cancelling! It comes with a 10-foot stereo 3.5mm plug that plugs into any laptop or desktop's microphone port. The non-skid base is actually weighted, and made of metal, and has a nun-skid rubber bottom to prevent it from sliding. Power supply: Phantom Power 3V DV Here's your link: altoedge.com If you have any questions, feel free to comment! Don't forget to rate :) Enjoy - SUBSCRIBE
The Alto-Edge GN3 is presented as a high quality desktop microphone with a gooseneck design that offers two pivot points, allowing the user to position the mic very close to the mouth for clear voice capture. The reviewer starts with a hardware tour, noting a heavy, solid base and a robust 3.5 mm stereo plug connection on the back, which matches the expectation of a versatile desktop setup. The base and neck assembly are described in detail, including the construction materials and the ease of adjusting the microphone's tilt to optimize pickup. The reviewer demonstrates a practical setup on a desk, showing how the cable is routed and how the neck can be angled to minimize noise and maximize proximity, while also mentioning the foam cover that helps reduce pops and background noise. After wiring the mic to a PC, the reviewer compares the current audio to the camera microphone, highlighting the significantly improved stereo quality and clarity. The microphone is claimed to be suitable for PC recording software, voice recognition software, and VOIP applications, making it a strong choice for tutorials, vocal work, and streaming. The sound quality is emphasized throughout the video, with the reviewer switching between sources to illustrate the mic’s performance, and concluding with a strong endorsement and a rating of nine out of ten, noting that the gooseneck length could be slightly more flexible. Overall, the presentation reinforces the GN3 as a value-for-money option under a hundred dollars that delivers clear, studio-like audio with minimal background noise when used correctly. The video ends with a call to subscribe for more tutorials and upcoming reviews, signaling ongoing content planned around similar products.
