In the previous video i fitted all the parts ready for a stage 2 tune, induction kit, intercooler and downpipe. Theres one thing i was missing and that was a exhaust system! I fitted a full @scorpionexhaustsyt & its insanely loud Lets see if the performance has increased. I take the golf out for a drive with @Phil-Cooper at the end to see what he thinks!

Notes
The video follows Matt Armstrong as he continues rebuilding and upgrading a wrecked VW Golf R MK7.5 with a focus on increasing performance through a full exhaust upgrade. He explains the current state of the car, including unresolved safety and electrical issues like front assist radar calibration and headlight wiring, while prioritizing upgrades that will make the car faster. The main modification shown is the replacement of the restrictive stock exhaust with a three inch downpipe and a Scorpion cat-back system, including the process of removing old parts, fitting the new system in sections, and reusing certain mounts. There is also a discussion about cosmetic and practical tweaks such as removing the rear wiper to improve aesthetics and airflow, which the host describes as a common modification across his builds. The video covers the initial start of the car with the new exhaust, the dramatic increase in volume and drone, and the plan to push the car further with Stage 2 tuning once the engine and subframe work are secured, setting up a future comparison on the dyno and at the track. Throughout, Matt acknowledges the support from viewers and promotes merchandise and Squarespace sponsorship while outlining the next steps for the project. The tone remains energetic and practical, balancing mechanical detail with entertaining commentary as the car moves closer to a high-performance goal and a potential race against a Lamborghini in a future video.
