Description

Time for performance mods for the Audi TT. But first i what BHP and Torque will it run on the dyno? I have been wanting to do this for a while now before i added an induction kit or remap just so we can see on paper the actual performance gains. Thanks to speedministryltd.com for letting me use the Dyno Im sure there will be more videos collaborating with those guys soon..

The video documents the initial dyno baseline test for a salvaged 2006 Audi TT MK2 with 116,000 miles, establishing a performance reference before any future modifications. The creator explains the plan to drive the car to Mallory Park, now renamed Malory Performance, to place the TT on a dyno and measure its stock horsepower and torque. He notes that the car is largely cosmetically tuned but remains mechanically stock, aside from the exhaust, and emphasizes the importance of tracking genuine gains from subsequent upgrades. The narration walks through the expected steps: arriving at Speed Ministry, validating the dyno setup, and performing two baseline runs to record the official figures. He highlights the uncertainty around the factory horsepower figure and the likelihood of a discrepancy given the car’s mileage, and then proceeds to the dyno tests. The results are presented clearly, showing a first run of 191 bhp and 239 Nm of torque, followed by a second run recording 195 bhp, with torque around 239 Nm, both measured under real-world conditions. The host invites viewer feedback on whether to pursue further performance mods such as an induction kit and a remap, while reflecting on the car’s high mileage and the potential impact on reliability. The video closes with a tease of interior modifications and a plan to document future tuning efforts, encouraging subscriptions to follow along the TT’s transformation journey and the ongoing dyno testing series.
