Check if your car was damaged with Car Vertical - 10% off here carvertical.com I was invited to view two Lamborghini Murcielago lp640 's which have been abandoned for 7 years. Both of them have some issues but i could get them pretty cheap because of that. The Lamborghini Murcielago is rising in value and they are becoming very rare, so do i take a chance and try to rebuild & restore one of these?

This video follows Mat Armstrong as he visits a large mixed inventory of supercars stored by Everyman Racing, with a particular focus on two abandoned Lamborghini Murciélagos. The host explains that the facility serves as a track day experience provider and that several cars have not been properly maintained, which opens the door for potential restoration projects. Early on, he highlights the appeal of owning a rare Murciélago, especially given its rising value and limited availability on the market. He then walks through a tour of the unit, identifying a range of vehicles from Ferrari to Nissan GT-Rs, and notes the distinct issues facing each car, including a fire-damaged McLaren and a stripped GTR. As the spotlight shifts to the Murciélagos, he reveals a “green” gated manual and a “yellow” e-gear example, both of which have long histories of storage and partial disassembly, making them intriguing yet risky candidates for purchase. The video also delves into practicalities like car history checks, with a CarVertical report used to assess mileage, accidents, and finance status, underscoring the importance of due diligence before making offers. Throughout the exploration, Matt discusses what it would take to get either car back on the road, including engine, gearbox, and wiring considerations, and he carefully weighs the potential headaches against the thrill of owning a manual Murciélago. The closing segment invites viewer participation to choose which car to pursue and teases the possibility of funding a future project, culminating in a sense of excitement about the potential to revive one or both cars in the near future.
