Description
I am one of the first to get my hands on the Nvidia RTX 5060. They sponsored this short and insisted that we're not allowed to benchmark it yet, but what we are allowed to do is look at it and we can game on it. We've got a PCI Express Gen 5 by8 interface that is double the speed of the previous 4060 Ti, three display ports, not to mention HDMI 2.1. And on this PNY card, we've got a dual fan cooler with one of them blowing through the card for additional performance. I was not expecting this to run quite this smoothly. Obviously, I can pick out little artifacts if I'm looking for them, but we're running at a good enough base frame rate that the input feels okay. Not amazing, but okay. Not every game supports frame generation, but not every game needs it. I'm playing at 4K with everything cranked in Counter-Strike 2. Oh my god, can't hit in this game. RDR2 absolutely cranked at 1440p. Like, I could turn on DLSS. I got into the game, I didn't really feel like I had to. But does the performance justify the price? Find out on Short Circuit where we're going to have our unboxing with some testing available
I am one of the first to get my hands on the NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti, and this short showcases the card’s unboxing, initial performance, and a quick gameplay test. The video opens with a quick look at the PCI Express Gen 5 x8 interface, three display ports, and an HDMI 2.1 output, all on a PNY card with a dual‑fan cooler that keeps the card running smoothly. I run Counter‑Strike 2 at 4K and Red Dead Redemption 2 at 1440p, noting that the frame rate feels solid and the input latency is acceptable. The clip ends with a teaser that the full review will be available on Short Circuit, where we’ll dive deeper into benchmarks and more detailed testing. Overall, the video gives a clear, concise first impression of the card’s capabilities and invites viewers to stay tuned for a more comprehensive review.
Viewers respond positively to the video, with over 9,400 likes indicating strong engagement. Comments highlight enthusiasm for the card’s performance at 4K and 1440p, praise the dual‑fan cooler, and note the importance of the HDMI 2.1 port. Many commenters mention the need for a full review and benchmark, suggesting that the short is a good teaser. The overall sentiment is upbeat, with a few jokes about the card’s price and VRAM, but no major criticisms. The community is eager for more detailed testing and a full review on Short Circuit.
