Check if your car was damaged with Car Vertical - 10% off here carvertical.com I am so close to now rebuilding the cheapest 2015 Range Rover Vogue in the UK. I am now down to the final touches & even more upgrades after facelifting the range rover and fixing all the problems. But theres still some problems which need addressing. If i wanted to complete the full 2018 facelift conversion there was another upgrade i needed to do & alongside that we still have the airbag warning light on the dash. I need to get this all fixed before getting it to the bodyshop for paint.

The video follows the ongoing project of rebuilding the cheapest Range Rover in the UK, focusing on maintenance, repairs, and upgrades that push a 2015 Vogue model toward a modernized 2018 facelift. The episode opens with a detailed refurbishment of severely damaged alloy wheels, where Alloy Fix demonstrates their process to heat, straighten, and weld cracks before powder coating, resulting in wheels that look nearly new. The host explains that while the color choice is provisional, gloss black will suit the car for the time being, and the freshly refurbished wheels are then mounted, balanced, and reintegrated with the vehicle. Throughout the wheel restoration segment, sponsorship and contact details are provided for Alloy Fix, highlighting the practical, real-world partnership behind the project. The episode then pivots to a larger electrical and interior upgrade push, including chasing down an airbag warning light and addressing an airbag control module beneath the center console, a task that proves lengthy and technically challenging. A substantial portion of the video documents the meticulous disassembly required to access the airbag ECU, the removal process, and the critical steps to have it reset by a dedicated airbag team, underscoring the safety considerations involved in revamping a salvaged vehicle. By the midway point, the project shifts toward a full interior modernization to align with the 2018 Range Rover interior, including a new dashboard, a modern infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay, upgraded climate display, and a redesigned trim, all aimed at achieving a cohesive, modern feel inside a 2015 model. The host demonstrates the complexity of integrating the newer screen, including swapping electrical boards, managing wires, and adjusting trim panels, while maintaining driveability to move toward the body shop for final bodywork and paint. The episode culminates with the Range Rover finally taking to the road for a first test drive, where the handling and ride quality are noted as improved over the prior model, before heading to Cars & Colours to assess rear quarter damage and potential paint work, with a hopeful prognosis for a near-final reveal in the next episode. The host signs off with a call to subscribe and a tease of the remaining tasks to finish the project, inviting viewers to join the journey toward completing the conversion and revealing the final appearance.
