Description
Just a brief tutorial on how/where to get the calculator found natively in Windows 7... I like it, as it offers minor improvements over the Windows Vista calculator, as well at that of XP. But I wouldn't reccomend it for weaker computers with less than, say, 1 GB of RAM and Windows Vista. It won't work as well.. WATCH IN HQ!!!
This video provides a focused, practical guide to obtaining and using a Windows 7 style calculator on Windows Vista. The presenter explains how to find and download a Windows 7 calculator utility from Lifehacker, noting that the site hosts Windows 7 software compatible with Vista and advising against using XP for this particular tool. After downloading, the video demonstrates the calculator's basic functionality, showing that it supports a standard numeric keypad input and offers a memory feature not present in the Vista native calculator. The presenter then compares the Windows 7 calculator with the native Vista calculator, highlighting differences such as memory support, and moves on to explore the available views and modes: standard, scientific, programmer, and a statistics/history component. Throughout, the presenter emphasizes practical usage tips, such as how to access different modes, copy and paste values, and how to search for the calculator by its file name rather than a generic term. In closing, the video encourages viewers to try the Windows 7 calculator for themselves, noting that it provides a minor but appreciated improvement in appearance and functionality, and offers quick steps to locate and install the tool from a web source.
