Description

Got this sample today and normally I wouldn't have bothered to unbox a product that we don't even carry at NCIX, but it seems like this product would go really well with the Sabertooth 55i motherboard that I unboxed the other night.

The video opens with Linus presenting an OCZ Special Ops DDR3 RAM dual channel kit as a sample and proceeds to unbox and inspect the hardware. He highlights the camouflage RAM spreader design that distinguishes this kit from other OCZ products, noting that OCZ offers a range of colorful spreaders such as green, red, gold, and platinum to match different themes. Linus describes the outside camouflage cover and the inside standard gold XTC memory cover, and even demonstrates peeling the top layer off one of the spreaders to show the underlying RAM module. The tone is casual and exploratory as he compares the unboxing to a recent Asus Sabertooth motherboard unboxing, tying the military aesthetic of the memory to the Sabertooth’s branding. He confirms the product is an OCZ Special Ops memory module and emphasizes that it is a sample rather than a product NCIX carries. Overall, the segment focuses on the visual design, branding, and physical presentation of the RAM, with a brief nod to how it might complement a tough, army-themed PC build. The video ends with a wrap up of the unboxing and a lingering note about checking out the RAM as part of a broader hardware showcase at Linus Tech Tips.
