this right here is the longest network cable we've ever run or at least what remains of it at this end is three pairs of single mode fiber optic cabling running into a four port 100 gigabit switch and on the other end man we got some really cool stuff but gonna take me a minute to get to it because it's 700 meters away starting with the other end of our cable which i now have to take inside the building where i promise you there is other cool stuff look at that we've got the same thing another quad port 100 gigabit switch that we're gonna plug two of our fiber ends into giving us a total of 200 gigabit these are sick though these hundred gigabit transceivers from fs.com can work over distances of two kilometers ah there it is and look at this over 40 gigabits per second to a single client when this place is full of machines everyone's gonna have full speed
