The short builds a provocative what-if scenario around Apple product decisions by recalling past moves and proposing bold changes. It begins by noting Apple has already removed or deprecated popular features such as the touch bar, butterfly keyboard, and iPod, then asks viewers what they think Apple should kill next. The speaker vocalizes a desire to bring back Touch ID and replace Face ID due to perceived speed and reliability concerns, while also critiquing the current home/menu customization options as outdated and in need of overhaul. The conversation expands into a discussion about laptops versus iPads, with some viewers proposing Mac OS on iPads and others arguing for keeping traditional laptop form factors with keyboards. Other hot topics in the dialogue include removing the Lightning connector from the MacBook lineup, debating whether the 13-inch MacBook Pro should exist, and criticizing the first-generation Apple Pencil for charging limitations. The sequence also touches on the idea of removing multiple cameras and rethinking how accessories like the Apple Pencil are charged, with a final verdict that some proposed changes would be disastrous while others might spark necessary evolution. Overall, the short uses rapid-fire debunking and speculative prompts to engage viewers in imagining a dramatically different Apple product ecosystem, emphasizing controversy and strong opinions about hardware, software, and user experience.
