Try Car Vertical with 10% off here carvertical.com I bought this cheap BMW M140i from auction and bought a BMW M2 front end for it as it was missing alot of parts. The front end bolted on no problem but i couldn't help but think it made the rear of the car look strange being that the BMW M2 is wider at the rear. But in the last video i began to wrap the whole car Laguna Blue and it started to look "more normal" What do you guys think?

Notes
The video follows the creator as he pushes toward completing the BMW M2 front-end project and getting the car back on the road. After wrapping the Laguna Blue for the entire car, the focus shifts to the challenging rear bumper and M2 bumper, which demands careful inlays and multiple disassembly steps for badges, sensors, and grills. The host demonstrates patience and technique as he layers primer, gloss black, and lacquer in a test of wraps, heat, and creases, describing the difficulties of the curved bumper and the need to segment the wrap into smaller sections to fit the contours. With the bumper finally in place, the next stage emphasizes cosmetics and fitment, including the decision to hand-paint a rear diffuser with a black gloss finish and to replace small parts like door handles with a meticulous, inlay-heavy approach. The video then shifts to wheel selection and mounting, where used CSL-style alloys are fitted to the E46 M3, and the wrap journey is showcased against the car’s progression from a rough build to a glossy, road-ready machine. As the exterior comes together, additional enhancements are pursued, including carbon front splitter, side skirts, and white-painted support bars, which collectively amplify the aggressive look. The host also teases a future dyno test and a potential map update, while keeping the audience engaged with progress updates and the excitement of seeing the fully wrapped M2 on the road again. By the time the car is outside in natural light, the Laguna Blue wraps with gloss black accents create a striking contrast against the carbon aero parts. The installation sequence highlights attention to detail, such as aligning panels, reassembling the bumper with inlays, and mounting the headlights and grills. The discussion touches on the car’s road-readiness, including a downpipe and a pending check engine light, while the host confidently projects upcoming performance checks and potential tune improvements. Viewers see the transformation from a detailed, labor-intensive wrap process to a completed, road-worthy vehicle that looks dramatically different and more aggressive. The video closes with the host inviting feedback on the wrap color, wheel choice, and overall finish, emphasizing the personal satisfaction of a weeks-long project finally reaching the street. The wrap’s effect on the car’s presence is reinforced by the host’s enthusiasm, and the audience is left anticipating future updates, including potential dyno results and further cosmetic tweaks. The video balances technical wrap work with aesthetic decisions, showing how color, wheels, and carbon accents converge to define the M2’s new look. Key steps include masking off the rear diffuser to wrap it separately, performing inlays on a bumper with many curves, and mounting a carbon splitter and side skirts for a wider, more aggressive stance. The host narrates the practical challenges of achieving a seamless wrap on complex shapes and uses the wheel swap as a visible milestone toward completeness. Throughout, the emphasis remains on thoroughness, patience, and a clearly defined end goal: a striking, road-ready M2 with a refreshed, individualized appearance that stands out on YouTube and on the road.
