Description

- It's a shorter circuit. The Nintendo switch is very portable but you know it's not portable. It's dock, way too big. You know what I wanna use instead, the ginkgo covert switch dock. It's like the size of a wall plug, but it's also a dock. Let's check it out. Inside the box, we got the manual, a USBC cord with a right angle connector, the dock itself, a weird sticker and travel adapters. USBC to switch, USBC to dock, HD mighta dock. Well, it's working, but it thinks the switches in the dock so I have to detach the controllers. Okay, that's a weird limitation, but on the plus side, the USBC port can actually charge and be displayed after for your other devices as well. Well, that's definitely more convenient than the regular dock, but it's also more expensive at $70 U.S. So, if you've got the moolah, and not very much backpack space, it's an option. This short video demonstrates a compact alternative to the standard Nintendo Switch dock, highlighting its unusually small footprint and how it differs from the regular dock. The presenter notes the device is in fact a dock and emphasizes its larger size relative to a typical wall outlet as a point of contrast with the traditional setup. The unboxing segment reveals the box contents: a manual, a USB-C cord with a right angle connector, the dock itself, a small sticker, and travel adapters, giving viewers a clear sense of what comes with this product. The host tests the dock and observes that the system initially behaves as if the Switch is in the dock, requiring controllers to be detached to proceed, which is presented as a limitation. On the positive side, the USB-C port is capable of charging devices and can also be used to display other devices, adding versatility beyond just Nintendo Switch use. The video concludes by comparing convenience and cost, noting that the dock offers a more convenient form factor than the regular dock but comes with a higher price tag of about $70 USD, making it a niche option for those with limited backpack space and a willingness to pay a premium. The closing invitation invites viewers to subscribe for more quick, second-longer circuits, maintaining the Shorts format while teasing future content.
